Himalayan pink salt

This salt coming from the highest peak summit of the world is considered the most fine along with the “Fleur de Sel” of the Camargue . As you can imagine, this is not a sea salt extracted from rock salt, but from crystals formations dating back to over 200 million years ago and which are located inside of the rock formations of the Himalayan mountain range. The extraction is carried out within the mines of Kewra, the largest salt mines of the world.

Himalayan pink salt has a rich mineral content that includes 84 natural minerals. This peculiarity is due to the very high pressures that led to the formation of crystals. It is also unrefined. Thanks to all this features, Himalayan pink salt is recommended for everyone’s diet.

The taste is rather less aggressive than the traditional one and is particularly suitable for meat dishes.
